Everyone on this show and its prequel is a narcissist. This show has probably done a lot to normalize all the narcissism we see today that wasn’t really a thing over 10 years ago.

It’s not just Sheldon, as Howard Wolowitz is also widely considered to have NPD:

The fact is, everyone on the show is just a narcissist, and I can say this because they’re not real. But they do make real people want to imitate them or to assume that’s how the world normally should be, and that’s probably been an even worse influence than Ayn Rand.

All this show does is encourage people to be narcissists like Elon Musk while discouraging people who know about STEM but don’t like the STEM image as literally being a bunch of narcissistic sociopaths with negative charisma. And of course, Elon Musk wants to put the lie “never went to therapy” on his gravestone, while he has gone to therapy, and also has a psychiatric prescription for depression. His prescription is the world’s most famous diuretic hallucinogen derived from PCP, ketamine. If he just wants to take some psychedelics one has to ask why he doesn’t just join some sort of shrooms trial in a state where that’s legal since ketamine is mostly an anesthetic and many anesthetics cause other issues, in addition to the fact that diuresis can be dangerous.
If Elon Musk built rockets to Mars, would he even be legally allowed to go on them? People who go to therapy can depending on what kind of therapy, seeing as even therapists themselves usually have to go to therapy at one point, but Elon prefers to do a lot of drugs and act like an antisocial idiot.

Of course narcissists want to normalize narcissism across the entire culture so they can say “look I made a brain chip, it’s just like the other brain chips on the market but worse, I named it Telepathy and my company X so I’m just like Professor X, I’m so good at literally everything.” I can’t do everything though and I admit that, which is why I’m sort of disappointed in people like Elon for being idiots. I want rockets to Mars, and I want people like him to focus on what they’re actually good at just like I focus on what I’m good at and I don’t try to build rockets to Mars, satellites, and cars. Maybe Elon could get good at all the things he pretends to, but it would take a lot of work and I don’t think he has time for that since he’s already engaging in all sorts of substance abuse, just like I could maybe get good at working on mechanical engineering things but I don’t have time for that but I don’t abuse substances. Maybe we should send Elon Musk to therapy. I started a petition.

I’m not starting a petition to end reruns of The Big Bang Theory or Young Sheldon. The shows have already been cancelled and people can just watch them on DVD anyway. There are lots of terrible shows even if none have been as influential as these. Sending Elon Musk to therapy is way funnier. It’s literally just therapy, not committing him to an institution or anything, normal people can go to therapy, and he’s already been to therapy so he shouldn’t even think it’s a big deal, but he will, because he’s a narcissist. He also self-diagnosed as bipolar anyway, to which Kayne West infamously replied he’s just autistic. He can be autistic, bipolar, NPD, and many other things. I’m not officially diagnosing him even if it’s legally OK to speculate about the mental health of public figures, especially when everyone around them has repeatedly tried to send them to rehab anyway, I’m just making a petition to send him to therapy because that’s hilarious and unironically I think it’d be good for him. I said I wasn’t going to be overly critical of Elon Musk and I’m not, I don’t think just sending him to regular old therapy is being overly critical of him when therapists themselves often have to go to therapy and if anyone is competent they are, he should like that idea even if he doesn’t. (Yes, the petition was written by AI but it’s great.)
Pickle Rick is stated by the creators to be a pun on “getting pickled,” which is what Elon is doing with his drug addiction. However, Rick, unlike Sheldon or Elon, actually grows as a person through his character arc and shows an ability to care about people besides himself.
Euhhhhhh why is is that some crazy people are good for being crazy but other crazy people are bad for being crazy?
i've never met anyone who wasn't at least half a narcissist
