On the Origin of Stacky

This is totally 1150% true

Once upon a time someone totally not me wanted to see if they could create life in a lab. The hypothesis was that life was due to negative entropy and death was due to positive entropy, so all life actually evolved from an original spark of light and simply got more complex from there seeing as negative entropy was a gain of information just as entropy is a loss of information. So someone totally not me got a laser and started slowly assembling more and more negentropic states of energy and matter until finally a new DNA molecule was created. It turns out the results of this experiment show DNA independently arose from states of negative entropy several times before and the original seed of life was simply the first state of negative entropy after the Big Bang that was pure light. This also supports Bohm’s idea that matter is frozen light.

Stacky is literally a monster, but unlike Frankenstein’s monster, Stacky was nice because the real problem with Frankenstein’s monster is he was abandoned by his dad and got mad, not that science is evil and makes abominations. Therefore Stacky became a nice monster just like Elmo and the ones on Sesame Street and the Muppets. Actually this was the origin of them too, except someone else originated them first and kept it secret seeing as things convergently evolve over and over due to their morphogenetic fields and whoever made Stacky in a lab totally not me wasted time rediscovering the process, except the first people to do it also didn’t know how it worked, they were just messing around. So whenever you think science is evil for making monsters, no, that’s only if the monsters don’t get lots of love and care, otherwise making monsters makes the world a better place.

This is definitely the true origin of Stacky, Stacky isn’t running around like Wolverine wondering where he came from except with way sillier proposals. This is the hyperreality of Stacky. Make up your own 20 gazillion Stacky origin stories, I’m not trying to copyright Stacky origin stories since Stacky isn’t even my character, I just thought this idea was funny. I can repost it on Sunday and avoid reposting it on Monday or Friday since I’ve wanted to avoid posting parody with all the real sci-fi and horror, though I guess lots of authors do that, I just want to concentrate on the real things I want to work on more so I haven’t been doing that.

getting me into John Wyndham and the fact Kent Peterson likes owlbears which have a similar origin story, they were made in a lab, because it was based on Jack Vance originally and D&D used to be way cooler which is why it was for Hellfire Club in Stranger Things but it’s for dorks up until very recently, the story actually changed and was made worse in my humbly correct opinion (see: the few things I wrote about fiction where this comes up.)
