I’m a lifetime fan of supplements and I’ve taken them for decades. Recently I encountered some information which has me rethinking taking them. Beef definitely has to come from organic grass fed cows to receive the full nutritional benefits.

beef liver is hands down one of the highest food sources of vitamin B12.

Sure, but unless you're living on a sustenance farm like a historical peasant all that B12 is going to mostly be from cows being fed B12 supplements and/or cobalt supplements (which they can process into B12 because ruminants digest their own feces) but even the cobalt supplement is still a supplement with associated risks, never mind that it's cobalt, the same thing that poisons you if you eat off a cobalt blue dish.

Definitely eat liver from a healthy animal.

I agree that there are people giving bad advice. I hope I am not one of them.
